We all love Sundays. That point of the week when you finally stopped… just for a moment. That point when you took time out to read, learn, create or simply enjoy time with loved ones. Our founder, Phil James, loves Sundays and, as &SONS has grown, those precious Sundays became the only time he got to spend time with his family. So to celebrate soulful Sundays and spring vibes, we chose to launch a shirt that was ideal for the occasion.

Phil wanted to create the perfect shirt. A tall order but that special shirt was something he felt was missing from his wardrobe. A shirt versatile enough to be dressed down with a pair of beaten up, selvedge fades or layered for a more dressed-up look.

He spent months sketching ideas, working with our fabric suppliers and manufacturers to create our Sunday Shirt, the first in a range of shirts we aim to launch in 2020.  Since our inception in 2016, we’ve wanted to create garments that become part of your everyday wardrobe, clothing that is good-looking and hard-wearing with all the hallmarks of traditional workwear.

Each &SONS item is carefully considered and well-designed to build on your existing wardrobe as well as complementing your other &SONS pieces. We felt that the Sunday Shirt was the missing link and, since we’ve launched this garment in a choice of Utility Blue or Army Green, we’ve been overwhelmed by how well it’s been received. So far, both colours have become best sellers and the feedback is incredible.

That feedback has inspired us to spend yet more time designing shirts and trying out new fabrics and colours. We will launch two new colours in the coming weeks and we’ve already sampled additional fabrics including chambray and denim that we’ll be showcasing soon. The Sunday Shirt is a testament to the hard work and efforts of a very small team who are driven by their enthusiasm for great clothing to create genuine, well-designed items that become staples in your wardrobe.

We’d also like to take this opportunity to thank all of you &SONS pioneers, nearly 20,000 of them now, who have supported us from the very beginning and been part of our journey. You are the voice of &SONS and we are incredibly grateful for that.
