We’re Teaming Up With Movember!

To mark Men’s Health Week this week (13th-19th June) we are proud to announce a new partnership with leading men’s health charity Movember, helping to raise funds and awareness for mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer.

So...let’s be real. How are you holding up?

To show our support for the charity we will re-brand our UK website and feature a new partnership logo which includes the iconic Movember moustache. This logo will also feature on email communications and social when the subject is about the Movember x &SONS partnership.

Today, at the start of men’s mental health week, we are launching a limited run of 100 T-Shirts to celebrate the partnership. And from every sale, we will donate £15 to Movember. Pre-order yours today and we'll dispatch W/C 20th June.

We have used our best-selling Classic V-Neck T-Shirt which has been hand screen-printed in-house. The illustration celebrates being unique and not being afraid to stand out from the crowd!

A MESSAGE FROM OUR FOUNDER PHIL JAMES.

Mental health is very close to our hearts at &SONS. I, for one, have been fighting against depression for many years. I’m from a generation where men never spoke about their feelings, cried, or hugged.

We indeed never spoke about our physical or mental health. So even now, at 53, I find it hard to talk about, but the more people do, the more we can help each other.

Thankfully times have changed, and the fantastic people at Movember are leading this change. Since 2003, Movember has funded more than 1,250 men’s health projects worldwide, challenging the status quo, shaking up men’s health research and transforming the way health services reach and support men.

Men are dying on average five years earlier than women for largely preventable reasons.

A growing number of men – around 10.8M globally – are facing life with a prostate cancer diagnosis. Globally, testicular cancer is the most common cancer among young men. And across the world, one man dies by suicide every minute of every day, with males accounting for 69% of all suicides. Movember is uniquely placed to address this crisis on a global scale. They fund ground-breaking projects worldwide, engaging with men to understand what works best and accelerate change.  Because of this amazing work, we wanted to collaborate with Movember and help their cause as much as possible. We are looking forward to some fantastic projects with them and helping to bring about some positive change for all the pioneers out there. Watch this space...
