Our latest Slub T-shirt is a timeless warm-weather staple that will never go out of style. With a classic cut neckline, this Tee features our distressed Pioneer logo hand-printed in a vintage, faded red.
Every limited edition T-Shirt has been hand screen-printed in-house meaning no one T-Shirt is the same. We use an environmentally friendly, water-based process to apply the distressed graphic onto our organic cotton slub.
The farming process of organic cotton uses less water, energy and pesticides than conventional cotton. We have sourced our organic cotton to ensure that not only is the fibre organic, but also the processing of the fabric and the garment within the whole supply chain has used no harmful chemicals and has been made to high ethical and environmental standards.
The classic colour tones will easily blend into an established wardrobe making it a great addition for all Pioneers.

“Slub” refers to a fabric which is artistically inconsistent. The yarn used to weave the fabric is thicker is some areas. This results in a unique fabric with a nice texture to it. Slub T-Shirts are light and airy, without clinging to the body. As a bonus, it does not ever need to be ironed because it is not designed to look flat.
The origins of the t-shirt date back to the late 19th century, when labourers would cut their jumpsuits in half to keep cool in warmer months of the year. The first manufactured t-shirt was invented between the Mexican-American War in 1898, and 1913 when the U.S. Navy began issuing them as standard undershirts
