Our hand-stamped Lucky Sixpence necklace has beautiful vintage patina and a silver necklace.
The Sixpence or 'Sixpenny' was in circulation from 1551 to 1970 and was originally composed of silver, before eventually moving to cupronickel in 1947. In the Victorian period, engraved coins were called 'Love tokens’, often given as a keepsake or memento from travels.
