The base of the boot uses a Goodyear welted Vibram moreflex sole that is lightweight for a comfortable step and is fully repairable in years to come. The insole also uses leather to cushion your foot. Gun metal eyelets and ski hooks help to fasten and secure the boots with Persian red laces and the back features a classic fabric pull loop.

These boots really are a one-of-a-kind piece. Made for the modern pioneer and crafted with skills long forgotten by many. These boots will be a part of &SONS’ history and we’re incredibly proud and honoured to share this with Trickers. INTRODUCING

The old floorboards creak as you step into the workshop and the smell of supple leather and grease from the old machines floods your senses. The dappled light trickles in through the windows as the cobblers hone the details of their work. Nearly 200 years of craftsmanship, excellence and pure magic... Introducing our limited-edition collab boots from Trickers: The Monkey Boot.

These boots are crafted using the finest components sourced locally and made in England. Every stitch, every detail, carefully thought out and perfected by the team. The boots are made with a full-grain leather lining, with a stunning aniline antique finish on the leather uppers.

ORIGINS

“I’m originally from Northamptonshire, so I was aware of the prestigious Trickers name from a young age. Their authentic craftsmanship is still the same as it was when it was founded in 1829 - to put that in perspective, Queen Victoria was still 8 years away from the throne… that history is remarkable for a brand in this day and age.

When we were approached by Trickers to create a Collab boot together, we jumped at the chance. It felt like the perfect match of brands, with a good balance of vintage and modern style. Our first visit to the famous Trickers factory was unforgettable. It really felt like we had stepped back in time, to an era when ‘handmade’ meant everything.

From the beautiful 1904 building, the original engineered machines, the worn-in floorboards and the stunning interiors - the labour of love from every craftsman could be felt at every stage of the process and the smell of leather was magical. When we saw the first of our boots being made, we all had goosebumps.

I am still smiling about the symmetry of working with a brand I loved as a young man in the 1980s. Everyone involved is really excited about this Collab and we can’t wait to share this with our pioneers.” - Phil James, Founder
